Adding Funds to Your Credit Balance

  • Top-Up Made Simple: Navigate to the "Subscription & Balance" section within your Profile to add funds. Here, you can specify the amount and currency you wish to add to your balance, tailoring it to your campaign needs.
  • Invoice Receipt and Payment Processing: Upon choosing your top-up amount, an invoice will be generated for you. The payment of this invoice is crucial as your Credit Balance will only be updated with the new funds once the payment is successfully processed. This step ensures that your funds are ready for use in upcoming campaigns. Please note that any new Credit Balance will only apply to future invoices. If there is an outstanding invoice, a new top-up will not clear it.
  • Adjustments for Existing Balances: Should there be any existing funds in your Credit Balance, the invoice for the new top-up amount will be adjusted to reflect this. This means that the invoice amount will be the difference between your top-up request and the existing balance, ensuring that your new Credit Balance equals the total amount you intended to top-up.

Managing Campaign Adjustments with Credit Balance

  • Handling Campaign Underdelivery: In instances where your campaign does not fully utilize the allocated budget by its end date, ad:personam will issue a credit to your balance equal to the shortfall. This adjustment is made at the end of the month after the campaign concludes, ensuring you can reallocate unspent funds to future campaigns.
  • Budget Reductions and Downweighting: When you decide to reduce your campaign's budget, the system instantly updates your Credit Balance with the difference. This instant adjustment allows for agile campaign management, ensuring you can reallocate resources as needed without delay.
  • Credits for Paused Campaigns: If you pause a campaign and it does not resume by its scheduled end date, ad:personam calculates the unused budget and credits it to your balance at the end of the month. This ensures that funds allocated to paused campaigns are not wasted but rather available for future advertising efforts.

Efficient Campaign Launches Using Credit Balance

  • Seamless Campaign Activation: By pre-funding your Credit Balance, you enable your campaigns to activate immediately once the budget is covered, eliminating the wait associated with traditional invoice payments.
  • Simplified Fund Management: The Credit Balance is designed to automatically deduct the required amount for your campaign. In the event the available balance does not cover the entire campaign budget, an invoice will be issued for the difference, streamlining the payment process.
  • Correction of Overpayments or Activation Errors: If you find that your campaign was activated with Credit Balance in error, or need to adjust the campaign budget post-activation, you have two options:
    • Reach out to our support team for personalized assistance.
    • Opt to reduce your campaign budget to the minimum possible amount (in your advertiser currency), which results in the surplus funds being credited back to your balance, ready to be utilized for future campaigns.

Important Considerations

Exclusive to Subscribers: Remember, the Credit Balance feature is exclusively available to users with an active ad:personam subscription.
Maintaining Balance: Until any top-up payment is fully processed, your Credit Balance will reflect zero, ensuring clarity and accuracy in your campaign funding.

By understanding and leveraging these aspects of your Credit Balance, you're equipped to efficiently finance and adjust your advertising campaigns on ad:personam. For any questions or additional support, our dedicated team is always ready to assist.
